2. Information we may collect

Depending on the service you use, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, location, insurance or career interest, preferred appointment schedule, career background, messages, consent record, and optional recruitment document.

The Quick Financial Clarity Test also collects your date of birth, financial-support category and estimated amount, whether you have debt and its estimated value, selected emergency funding sources, savings runway, existing coverage, assessment goal, calculated protection-gap score, indicative protection starting point, and personalized report. The assessment does not request bank account details, government identification numbers, policy numbers, passwords, or medical records.

Financial Buddy conversations may be stored with a random session identifier. For security, abuse prevention, and basic visitor analytics, the website may also record an IP address, hashed IP reference, anonymous visitor ID, visit count, browser timezone, user agent, referring page, campaign information, and country code when supplied by the hosting network.

3. Why we process information

• Generate and email a requested Financial Clarity Report.
• Save the completed assessment as a Financial Check lead for review and consented follow-up.
• Respond to insurance, HMO, non-life, car insurance, financial planning, or company coverage inquiries.
• Coordinate consultations and schedule confirmation.
• Review financial advisor recruitment applications.
• Prevent abuse, secure the website, maintain records, and prepare internal lead reports.
• Comply with lawful, regulatory, provider, and recordkeeping requirements when applicable.

4. Sensitive information and documents

Date of birth is treated as sensitive personal information. It is collected with your consent for age-related report guidance and follow-up, stored with the protected Financial Check lead, and excluded from routine report-notification emails. Do not submit banking or card details, passwords, government IDs, full medical records, policy numbers, or policy documents through the Financial Check, general inquiry form, or assistant chat. Recruitment documents are stored in a restricted server folder and are accessible only through the authenticated CMS.

5. Automated assessment and service providers

The Financial Check applies fixed educational scoring rules to your selected answers. It does not make an automated approval, eligibility, pricing, underwriting, or coverage decision. Malou must review official provider documents and discuss your circumstances before any application or recommendation.

When Financial Buddy is enabled, chat messages may be sent securely to the configured AI processing service. Information may also be processed by hosting and email providers and, only when needed for an authorized inquiry, appropriate insurer, HMO, recruitment, compliance, or professional-adviser teams. This website does not sell personal data.

6. Retention

Financial Check reports, leads, bookings, and related records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for the requested report, follow-up, legitimate business records, security, or legal obligations. The administrator should periodically review and delete data that is no longer required.

7. Security

The website uses authenticated administrator access, password hashing, CSRF protection, prepared database queries, restricted upload storage, rate limiting, and security headers. No online system can guarantee absolute security, so visitors should limit the information they submit.

8. Your choices and rights

9. Cookies and analytics

The website uses a necessary session cookie for security, form processing, report display, and CMS access. Financial Buddy may use local browser storage for an anonymous visitor and conversation identifier. Optional analytics may be enabled by the administrator. The website does not request precise GPS location.
